Mother Tongues
NOK 240.00
Mother Tongues holds an exchange between visual artist Alva Mooses and poet Aracelis Girmay. Their art variously embodies transformation and care, in part through their engagement with the sensuality of earth and water, with ecosystemic and cultural life across time. As if to remake the world through our sensate bodies—our hands, ears, mouths, minds—they draw our attention to their materials and images, and to their work of remembrance and invention. In a time of ongoing political and ecological ruptures borne out of coloni-zation, they offer visions to fortify collective imagination.
